ALL Ohio Literacy & Learning Science
ALL Ohio empowers educators across the P–20 continuum with the knowledge, skills, and resources to strengthen instruction and accelerate student success. Grounded in the science of reading, learning science, and the principles of Universal Design for Learning (UDL), ALL Ohio bridges the gap between research and practice—translating what we know about how students learn into high-quality, actionable professional learning. Whether online or in person, ALL Ohio helps educators and families meet diverse learning needs and expand access to explicit, systematic instruction in reading, mathematics, science, and other content areas.
P20 Literacy & Math Tutoring
The P20 Literacy & Math Tutoring initiative was developed to strengthen teacher knowledge and practice through high-quality professional learning and accessible resources. By emphasizing evidence-based practices such as explicit instruction and high-dosage tutoring in reading and mathematics, the initiative increased teacher capacity to accelerate learning for every child. Educators and teams accessed professional learning schedules, session content, and related resources, along with guidance from the Ohio Deans Compact project team and Ohio Department of Education & Workforce leaders.
Through this collective forum, teachers gained the tools and strategies they needed to support foundational skills, engage in collaborative problem-solving, and apply high-leverage instructional practices that advanced student success.
The following resources were created out of the P20 Literacy & Math Tutoring initiative from 2022 to 2024, capturing key lessons and materials designed to extend the impact of this work beyond the life of the project.
